The MR PEX 1320030 is a 1/2-inch PEX-AL-PEX composite tubing supplied in a 300-foot orange coil, engineered for closed-loop radiant heating systems. The construction bonds an aluminum layer between two cross-linked polyethylene layers, creating an oxygen barrier that inhibits oxygen diffusion into the system and prevents corrosion of ferrous components such as boiler heat exchangers and circulators. Rated to 160 psi at 200 degrees F by the Hydrostatic Stress Board of the Plastics Pipe Institute (PPI) under ASTM F1281-2005 and CSA B137.10, this tubing is certified NSF-pw and NSF-rfh, and complies with chlorine resistance test method ASTM F2023. It carries both the cNSF and cNSFus marks.

This tubing is intended for residential and light commercial radiant floor heating, radiant wall and ceiling panel systems, and hydronic distribution runs where an oxygen barrier is required.
