The MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS T270 is a 2-pack of handheld 2-way radios designed for recreational outdoor use. Each radio operates on 22 GMRS/FRS channels with 121 privacy codes, allowing users to reduce interference from other conversations on the same channel. The T270 delivers a maximum line-of-sight range of 25 miles in unobstructed outdoor conditions. Built-in features include 20 audible call tones, a keypad lock, an LCD battery meter, and an audible low battery alert. The lightweight, portable design makes these radios a practical communication tool for camping, fishing, biking, and similar activities where reliable short-range radio contact is needed.
The T270 2-pack is suited for family groups, recreational teams, and outdoor enthusiasts who need a simple, no-subscription communication solution in the field. The radios include 11 weather channels (7 NOAA) with alert capability, allowing users to receive weather updates during outdoor activities. Scan, monitor, and talk confirmation tone (roger beep) functions are also built in. iVOX/VOX hands-free operation is supported. Each unit includes a 2.5mm audio jack for optional earpiece or headset accessories. Power is supplied by the included NiMH rechargeable batteries via a Y micro-USB charging adapter, or alternatively by 3 AAA alkaline batteries (not included).

No licensed trade installation is required for these FRS/GMRS recreational radios. Insert the included NiMH rechargeable batteries or 3 AAA alkaline batteries (not included) per the polarity markings in the battery compartment. Use the included Y micro-USB adapter to charge both radios simultaneously. GMRS channels on this device are limited to the power levels permitted under FCC Part 95 rules for license-by-rule operation.
