Mosquito Bits 117-6 is a ready-to-use granular mosquito larvicide containing Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (BTI). The 30.5 oz container releases BTI on standing water where mosquito larvae ingest it and typically die within 24 hours. The granules are labeled for use in water gardens, rain barrels, bird baths, gutters and similar sites; reapply every 7 to 14 days for ongoing larval control, and it is also labeled for fungus gnat larvae in soil.
