The MOROSO 60040 is a 7-mil PVC electrical tape in green, supplied in a 60-foot roll. PVC tape at this thickness provides solid insulation and moisture resistance for wire splices, harness bundling, and general electrical wrap applications. It is a standard tool-of-the-trade item used by electricians, automotive technicians, and HVAC service professionals during wiring installations and repairs. The green color supports color-coding conventions on multi-circuit wiring jobs where quick visual identification of conductors or circuits is required.
This tape is suited for low-voltage wiring applications including control wiring, wire bundling, and insulation repair on conductors in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. The 60-foot roll length is practical for service work where a full spool is not needed on every call. Green PVC tape is commonly used to identify grounded conductors or equipment grounding conductors in certain wiring systems, as well as for general color-coded circuit identification.
Designed as a general-purpose PVC electrical tape for use on low-voltage wiring, wire splices, harness bundling, and conductor insulation repair across electrical, HVAC, and automotive applications.
De-energize and lock out circuits before applying tape to any conductor or splice. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for proper adhesion. Follow NEC guidelines when using tape color coding to identify grounded or equipment grounding conductors. Do not use PVC tape as a substitute for rated heat-shrink or splice connectors in high-vibration or high-temperature environments without verifying the tape rating meets application requirements.
