The MOLDEX 7801 is a small-size, reusable half mask respirator from the 7000 Series, built with a soft silicone facepiece that conforms to facial contours for a secure, comfortable seal. Weighing just 0.44 pounds, the lightweight construction is designed for extended wear across full shifts. The bayonet cartridge connection allows for straightforward filter and cartridge changes without tools. This respirator is intended for use by workers in industrial, construction, welding, and general maintenance environments where respiratory protection against airborne contaminants is required. Licensed safety professionals and industrial hygienists typically specify the appropriate cartridge type for the hazard present.
The 7801 is sized for small face profiles and fits within the MOLDEX 7800 Series system. The drop-down feature allows the mask to hang around the neck when not in active use, eliminating the need to remove the headgear entirely. Switching the strap to lock-down mode enables quick donning of the mask with a pre-adjusted fit. The low-profile, compact design provides a wide field of vision and is compatible with welding helmets and safety glasses. Very few replacement parts and simple disassembly make routine cleaning and maintenance straightforward for workers managing multiple masks.
Designed for use within the MOLDEX 7800 Series half mask respirator system. Accepts MOLDEX bayonet-style cartridges and filters compatible with the 7000 Series platform.
Fit testing by a qualified safety professional is required before first use in accordance with OSHA respiratory protection standards (29 CFR 1910.134). Power down or shut off any equipment in the work area before servicing or adjusting the respirator in a confined or hazardous environment. Inspect the facepiece, seals, and cartridge connections before each use and replace any worn or damaged components immediately. Cleaning should follow the manufacturer's maintenance guidelines using appropriate disinfectants safe for silicone materials.
