The MOLDEX 7603 is a large, reusable half mask respirator from the 7000 Series, designed for trade and industrial professionals who require reliable respiratory protection during multi-hazard tasks. The facepiece features a snap-in, drop-down design with a curved neck buckle and adjustable head cradle that conforms to facial contours for a secure, custom fit. This unit comes pre-assembled and approved for use against nine common gases and vapors, making it ready for immediate deployment out of the packaging. At 0.96 pounds, the lightweight construction supports all-day wear without excessive fatigue.
The 7603 is suited for residential and commercial job sites where workers face exposure to multiple gas and vapor hazards simultaneously. The low-profile, compact facepiece design maintains a wide field of vision, making it compatible with use under welding helmets. The drop-down mode allows the mask to rest around the neck between tasks, while a strap lock-down position enables quick donning with a pre-adjusted fit. This respirator is appropriate for use by HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance workers, painters, welders, and other trades operating in environments with airborne chemical hazards.
Designed for use with the MOLDEX 7000 Series half mask respirator platform. Compatible cartridges and filters are sold separately for the 7000 Series system.
Fit testing is required before first use in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 respiratory protection standards. Inspect the facepiece and cartridges for damage or seal degradation before each use. Replace cartridges according to the manufacturer schedule or whenever odor or irritation is detected. This respirator is intended for use by trained personnel — consult your site safety officer or industrial hygienist for proper cartridge selection based on specific workplace hazards.
