The MOLDEX 6600 is a disposable, uncorded foam earplug designed to deliver a 33-decibel Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) in industrial, construction, and general trade environments. Made from non-PVC foam in a bullet profile, these earplugs are inserted using the standard roll-down method: compress, insert, and allow the foam to expand to form a consistent acoustic seal. Universal sizing means they fit a wide range of ear canal dimensions without adjustment. Each pair is single-use and disposable, making them well suited for job sites where hygiene and fast deployment matter. The package contains 200 pairs, providing an adequate supply for crew use or extended single-user application.
These earplugs are used across trades and industries where sustained exposure to high-decibel equipment is routine. Typical applications include HVAC mechanical rooms, generator operation, power tool use, grinding, cutting, and heavy equipment operation. The uncorded design eliminates snag hazards around rotating equipment. The high-visibility orange color makes it easy to visually confirm that hearing protection is in place during site inspections or safety audits. Compliance with ANSI S3.19-1974 testing standards supports use in workplaces subject to OSHA hearing conservation program requirements.
Designed for universal fit across adult ear canal sizes. Suitable for use in any application requiring hearing protection rated to ANSI S3.19-1974 standards.
Roll-down earplugs should be inserted by a trained user following OSHA-recommended technique: roll the earplug into a tight cylinder, reach over the head to pull the ear canal open, insert fully, and hold in place while the foam expands. Achieved attenuation depends on proper insertion — an improperly seated earplug will not deliver the rated NRR. Earplugs are single-use and should not be washed and reused. Consult your facility safety officer or industrial hygienist to confirm that 33 dB NRR meets the required protection factor for the specific noise exposure level on your job site.
