Moen Inc/faucets 218H0 Handheld Showerhead 6 Function 1.75 Gpm

Product Description

The MOEN INC/FAUCETS 218H0 is a six-function handheld showerhead from the Moen Attune line, finished in chrome. The spray head measures 4 inches in diameter and delivers water at 1.75 gallons per minute (GPM), meeting EPA WaterSense criteria for water efficiency. It ships as a package of two units. Licensed plumbers and qualified installers will find this a straightforward replacement or new-installation showerhead for residential bathroom applications. The chrome finish resists corrosion in wet environments, and the six selectable spray settings give end users control over their shower experience without requiring additional hardware.

This handheld showerhead is suited for residential bathroom installations where a multi-function spray pattern and water-efficient flow rate are required. The six spray functions include full spray, downpour, relaxing massage, massage, and rinse settings, covering a wide range of user preferences in a single unit. It is appropriate for retrofit projects upgrading older fixed or handheld showerheads, as well as new residential construction plumbing rough-ins where a chrome finish and WaterSense compliance are specified.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified bathroom contractor in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply to the shower before removing the existing showerhead or hose connection. Use thread seal tape on all threaded connections to prevent leaks. Avoid over-tightening threaded fittings, which can crack plastic components or damage chrome finishes.
