The MM Manufacturing 100-5X5 is a 30-gauge G30 galvanized steel round snaplock duct pipe measuring 5 inches in diameter by 60 inches in length. Designed for low-pressure supply and return air distribution systems, this pipe is a standard component in residential and light commercial HVAC ductwork installations. The snaplock seam allows for fast, tool-light field assembly. HVAC technicians and sheet metal installers use this pipe to build out trunk-and-branch or radial duct systems where consistent round duct sizing and reliable galvanized construction are required.
This snaplock pipe is suited for residential forced-air heating and cooling systems as well as light commercial ventilation applications. At 5 inches in diameter and 60 inches in length, it fits common branch runs from supply plenums to register boots. The G30 galvanized coating provides corrosion resistance appropriate for conditioned-space ductwork. MM Manufacturing offers this product in a range of diameters from 3 inches to 24 inches and lengths of 24 inches, 36 inches, and 60 inches depending on diameter, giving installers flexibility across multiple project configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-construction component for residential and light commercial forced-air duct systems requiring 5-inch round galvanized snaplock pipe.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or qualified sheet metal installer in accordance with SMACNA duct construction standards and applicable local mechanical codes. Shut down the air handling unit and confirm the system is de-energized before connecting or modifying ductwork. Secure all joints with sheet metal screws and seal with UL 181-listed mastic or foil tape to meet energy code requirements. Avoid over-crimping the snaplock seam, which can distort the pipe and reduce airflow area.
