The MK MORSE 102797 is a 12-inch, 60-tooth carbide tipped circular saw blade engineered for cutting ferrous metals in demanding trade applications. Also sold under the Metal Devil CSM1260FSC designation, this blade is built for steel plate, small solid stock, and structural steel shapes. The carbide tips deliver the edge retention needed to cut through steel cleanly without the heat buildup that dulls conventional blades. The 1-inch arbor hole fits standard cold saw and circular saw arbors used across fabrication, mechanical, and ironworking trades. At 60 teeth, this blade produces controlled, relatively smooth cuts suited to finish work on steel components.
This blade is designed for ferrous metal cutting in fabrication shops, on commercial job sites, and in mechanical and ironworking trades. It handles steel plate and small solid sections up to 3/8 inch thickness and tubing, channel, or other structural shapes with wall thickness not exceeding 1/4 inch. It is not intended for non-ferrous metals, wood, or masonry. Typical users include structural iron workers, pipefitters, and fabricators who require a reliable cold-cut blade for repetitive steel cutting tasks.
Designed for use in circular saws and cold saws accepting a 12-inch blade with a 1-inch arbor. Intended for cutting steel plate, solid sections, and structural steel shapes within the stated thickness limits.
Installation should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with circular saw blade safety. Disconnect and lock out power to the saw before removing or installing any blade. Confirm the saw's rated speed meets or exceeds the blade's maximum RPM rating before operation. Always use the correct blade guards and follow applicable OSHA and tool manufacturer safety requirements when cutting ferrous metals.
