The MITUTOYO 552-160-10 is a large-range electronic caliper from the 552 Digimatic Carbon Fiber series, designed for precise outside and inside diameter measurements in demanding shop and field environments. Built with a carbon fiber reinforced plastic beam and jaws, it spans a full 18 inches of measurement range with a resolution of 0.0005 inches and an accuracy of 0.0025 inches. The IP66 rating provides protection against dust and high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for use in wet or contaminated workspaces. A data output port allows direct transmission of measurements to a compatible data collection system or SPC software, reducing transcription errors on the shop floor.
