The MITUTOYO 547-500S is an electronic thickness gage designed for precise material thickness measurement across a range of 0 to 12mm, with a resolution of 0.01mm and accuracy to 0.001 inches. It uses Digimatic technology with an Absolute (ABS) linear scale, eliminating the need to reset the origin after powering on. The ceramic anvil face and flat contact geometry deliver repeatable, low-distortion readings at a controlled measuring force of 1.5 N. A grip handle and waterproof data output connector make it well suited for use in both shop and field environments. SPC output capabilities allow direct integration with statistical process control systems.
