The stainless steel body and stainless steel knife-edge jaws resist wear and stand up to cutting fluids, coolant, and general shop contamination. The IP67 rating confirms full dust-tight construction and short-term water immersion protection. An integrated depth rod and inside-diameter jaws extend measuring capability beyond standard outside measurements.
