It covers a measurement range of 0 to 8 inches with a resolution of 0.0005 inches and an accuracy of 0.0010 inches. The caliper body and jaws are constructed from hardened stainless steel. It carries an IP67 rating for full protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion in coolant or water, making it suitable for use at machine-side stations and wet grinding operations. A NIST traceability certificate and TUV Rheinland certification are included, satisfying most shop-floor and quality-lab documentation requirements.
This caliper is intended for professional metrology use in manufacturing, machining, toolroom, and quality-assurance environments. It is capable of measuring outside diameter, inside diameter, depth, and step dimensions in a single instrument.
