Part of the 500 ABSOLUTE Coolant-Proof series, it measures from 0 to 6 inches (0 to 150 mm) with a resolution of 0.0005 inches and an accuracy of 0.0010 inches. The caliper carries an IP67 rating, making it fully resistant to dust ingress and capable of withstanding temporary submersion — a critical feature when used near coolant, cutting fluid, or wash-down conditions. The hardened stainless steel beam and carbide-tipped knife-edge jaws deliver long service life under repeated use.
