The MITUTOYO 122-127-10CAL is a mechanical blade micrometer designed for precision measurement in tight grooves, slots, keyways, and other hard-to-reach features where a standard micrometer anvil cannot fit. It covers a measurement range of 2 to 3 inches with an accuracy of 0.00015 inches and a resolution of 0.0001 inches. The ratchet thimble provides consistent measuring force for repeatable results. An IP54 water resistance rating protects the tool from dust ingress and splashing, making it suitable for use in typical shop and field environments. A NIST traceability calibration certificate is included. This tool is used by machinists, tool-and-die makers, and quality control technicians.
The 122-127-10CAL is suited for dimensional inspection work in manufacturing, machining, and precision fabrication environments. Its blade-style anvil and spindle — 0.75 mm thick and 6.5 mm deep — allow access to narrow recesses and thin-walled features that standard outside micrometers cannot reach. This is a precision measuring instrument, not an installed component. Handle with care to avoid dropping or impact damage that can affect calibration. Clean the measuring faces with a lint-free cloth before use. Store in the included plastic case when not in use to protect the blade anvil and maintain calibration integrity. Recalibrate per your facility quality management schedule or after any impact event.
