It measures from 0 to 1 inch with an accuracy of 0.00015 inches and a resolution of 0.001 inches (0.001 mm). The micrometer features a 30-degree point angle on both the spindle and anvil, a spindle point length of 0.5039 inches, and an 18 mm head diameter. A ratchet stop mechanism ensures consistent measuring force on every use, reducing operator-to-operator variation. The tool is TUV certified and suited for precision inspection work in machining, toolmaking, and mechanical trades.
