The MITSUBISHI 621421 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining applications. It features a 0.0984 inch (2.50 mm) mill diameter with a 0.1969 inch (5.00 mm) length of cut and an AlCrN coating for superior heat resistance and tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The variable helix and variable index geometry reduce harmonic vibration and chatter, making this end mill well-suited for high-speed milling of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys. Installation and operation are performed by machinists and CNC operators in precision machining environments.
This end mill is designed for use in milling operations on steel, stainless steel, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and high-temperature alloys. It is a metric-series tool from the Mitsubishi VQ Endmill VQMHV series, featuring a straight shank with a 0.1575 inch (4.00 mm) shank diameter and an overall length of 1.7717 inches (45.00 mm). The medium-length, single-end configuration makes it appropriate for general-purpose pocket milling, slotting, and profiling where a compact reach is adequate.
Designed as an OEM-specification solid carbide end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 4.00 mm straight shank. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and high-temperature alloys as designated by workpiece material codes P, M, N, and S.
This tool is installed and operated by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Before changing tooling, confirm the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state. Verify the tool holder bore matches the 4.00 mm shank diameter and that the shank is fully seated and clamped to the specified holder torque per the machine or holder manufacturer guidelines. Note that this end mill is not center-cutting and is not suitable for direct plunge operations.
