The MITEE-BITE 24106 is a compact screw mount toe clamp designed for workholding applications on machine tools, fixtures, and precision setups. It features a serrated edge surface that grips workpieces securely, delivering a holding force of 2,000 pounds when torqued to 20.8 foot-pounds. Constructed from steel, this clamp measures 0.75 inches wide and 0.5 inches high, making it well suited for low-profile setups where clearance is limited. Machinists and toolmakers install this clamp directly to fixture plates or machine tables using a 5/16-18 screw thread.
The 24106 is used in production machining, toolroom, and fixture-building environments where compact clamp height is a priority. Its small footprint allows installation close to workpiece edges without interfering with cutting tool paths. The serrated contact surface engages the workpiece edge to resist lateral movement during milling, drilling, or boring operations. It is appropriate for both manual and CNC machine tool setups in job shop and production settings.
Designed as an OEM-style screw mount toe clamp for use with standard fixture plates, tombstones, and machine table setups accepting a 5/16-18 screw thread.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolmakers as part of workholding setup on manual or CNC machine tools. Ensure the machine is powered down and the spindle is fully stopped before adjusting or repositioning clamps. Torque the mounting screw to the specified 20.8 foot-pounds using a calibrated torque wrench to achieve rated holding force. Do not exceed the rated torque value, as over-torquing can damage the clamp body or fixture plate threads.
