The MITEE-BITE 23200 is a stainless steel clamp strap designed for workholding applications in machining and fixturing environments. It features a stepped nose profile and a plain heel, providing a secure, low-profile grip on workpieces. The strap offers 1.68 inches of travel, accommodating a range of part heights during setup. Built from stainless steel for corrosion resistance, the 23200 is sized for a 1/2-inch stud, measuring 3.75 inches in overall length, 1.12 inches wide, and 0.87 inches high. Machinists and tooling technicians use this strap as part of a precision workholding setup on CNC mills and manual machines.
The 23200 clamp strap is suited for use on machining centers and milling fixtures where controlled clamping force and minimal part interference are required. Its stop style and non-serrated, non-tapped design make it straightforward to integrate into standard T-slot table setups with a 1/2-inch stud and nut assembly. The stepped nose allows it to step down onto workpieces of varying heights, making it a flexible choice across production and prototype runs.
Designed for use with standard 1/2-inch stud workholding systems on milling machines and machining center T-slot tables. End-to-stud center distance is 0.50 inches.
Installation is performed by machinists or tooling technicians. Power down and de-energize the machine before adjusting any workholding components. Ensure the stud, nut, and step block combination is rated for the clamping loads required. Torque the stud nut evenly and verify the strap seats flush against the heel support before running the machine.
