The MISSION RUBBER MR56-33 is a 3-inch Flex-Seal unshielded sewer coupling engineered to join similar or dissimilar pipe materials in drain, waste, and vent systems. Constructed from rubber, it provides a flexible, watertight transition between 3-inch cast iron and 3-inch plastic pipe. The unshielded design keeps the profile low in tight spaces while maintaining a secure seal. Plumbers and pipefitters install this coupling in residential and light commercial sewer and drain lines where a reliable, code-acceptable connection between different pipe materials is required.

The MR56-33 is suited for underground, non-pressure, and gravity-flow applications. Typical installations include connecting cast iron stack sections to PVC or ABS drain lines during new construction or remodel work, and for repair situations where an existing cast iron line must be transitioned to plastic.
