The MISSION RUBBER 1804038 is a standard lightweight no-hub coupling designed to join no-hub cast iron soil pipe and fittings without the need for hub-and-spigot connections. It connects nominal 4-inch pipe to nominal 3-inch pipe, making it a reducer coupling suited for transitioning between two pipe sizes in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this coupling in both new construction and repair work where a clean, tool-torqued band connection is required in place of lead-and-oakum joints.
