The MINKA f729-whf is a steel ceiling fan built around a 188mm x 15mm steel motor for reliable, consistent airflow. The fan spans 54 inches blade tip to blade tip with steel blades set at a 5 degree pitch, a geometry that balances air movement efficiency with low noise at multiple speeds. A 6 inch downrod is included for standard ceiling mounting. The 4-speed WC105 wall control ships in the box, giving installers a complete speed-control solution without sourcing a separate switch. This fan is intended for residential and light-commercial interior applications where a durable steel construction is preferred over plastic-composite alternatives.
The f729-whf suits living rooms, bedrooms, covered patios, and similar spaces where a 54 inch fan is appropriately sized for the room footprint. The four-speed wall control allows fine-tuned airflow adjustment without the need for a pull chain or separate remote. Installers working on new construction or retrofit projects will find the included downrod and wall control reduce the number of accessory orders required at rough-in. A universal light kit port is available for optional illumination, with compatible Minka Aire universal light kits sold separately.
Compatible with Minka Aire universal light kits, sold separately. Confirm canopy and outlet box ratings before installation.
Ceiling fan installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC guidelines and local jurisdiction requirements. Before beginning work, switch off power at the circuit breaker serving the fan circuit and verify the absence of voltage with a non-contact tester. Confirm that the ceiling outlet box is rated for fan support — standard light-fixture boxes are not approved for fan loads. Mount the downrod to the correct length for the ceiling height to maintain the minimum 7 foot blade-to-floor clearance recommended for occupied spaces.
