The MINERALLAC 37520 is a clear insulating varnish used to protect and seal electrical windings, coils, and other components where dielectric insulation is required. Applied as a coating, it forms a hard, protective film that resists moisture, dust, and minor abrasion. Electricians and motor winding technicians use this product during motor repair, transformer service, and coil encapsulation work. The varnish is transparent when cured, allowing visual inspection of the underlying component without requiring removal of the coating.
This insulating varnish is suited for residential and commercial electrical maintenance work, motor rewinding shops, and field service applications where components need re-insulation after repair or inspection. It is appropriate for use on stator windings, armatures, and similar electrical subassemblies that require a protective dielectric coating after service.
Designed as an OEM-style insulating varnish for use on electrical windings, coils, and similar components requiring dielectric protection during motor and transformer repair work.
Application should be performed by a qualified electrician or motor winding technician. Ensure all equipment is de-energized and locked out before applying varnish to any electrical component. Allow adequate cure time before re-energizing equipment, and work in a well-ventilated area in accordance with applicable safety guidelines. Follow all local and national electrical codes when performing motor or transformer service.
