The MILWAUKEE TOOL 49-25-1579 is a 10-piece set of NITRUS CARBIDE multi-tool blades engineered for aggressive cutting in demanding materials. Each blade mounts via a Universal Fit OPEN-LOK anchor, delivering improved strength and control compared to standard hook-style attachments. The NITRUS CARBIDE construction provides up to 2x more cuts versus standard carbide teeth blades, making this pack a high-cycle option for trade professionals who run oscillating tools daily. With a cutting width of 1-3/8 inches and a maximum plunge depth of 2 inches, these blades handle full-depth cuts in a wide range of substrate types encountered in remodel and rough-in work.
These blades are suited for residential and light commercial applications where trades encounter mixed or embedded materials. Typical install scenarios include remodel carpentry, drywall rough-in, plumbing and electrical rough-in, and general demolition where screw-embedded wood, nail-embedded wood, plaster, cement board, drywall, and PVC are present. The 10-pack quantity supports job-site continuity without mid-project restocking. HVAC techs, plumbers, electricians, and general contractors will find these blades practical for access cuts and penetration work.
Compatible with Milwaukee, Ryobi, Ridgid, DeWalt, Rockwell, Craftsman, Porter Cable, SKIL, Masterforce, Performax, Master Mechanic, Chicago Electric, Hercules, Black and Decker, Worx, Kobalt, Hitachi, Metabo, CAT, Non-Starlock Makita, Hart, and Jorge oscillating multi-tools. Dremel tools require an adapter. The OPEN-LOK anchor fits all major brands of non-Starlock oscillating tool interfaces.
Installation is performed by carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians using standard oscillating multi-tool platforms. Always power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before changing blades. Secure the OPEN-LOK anchor fully before resuming tool operation to prevent blade ejection during use. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required when cutting nail-embedded or screw-embedded material.
