The MILWAUKEE TOOL 48-73-8914 is a cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant work glove designed for trade professionals who need reliable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. Built on a 15-gauge HPPE blend and polyester seamless liner, the glove achieves an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level of A1 and an EN 388 rating of 3121A. A rough-grip nitrile coating covers the palm and fingertips, with reinforced nitrile between the thumb and index finger for added durability in high-wear zones. The lightweight, breathable construction keeps hands comfortable during extended use, and Smartswipe-compatible fingertips allow touchscreen operation without removing the glove. Licensed electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general trades workers are the primary users.
These gloves are suited for light to moderate hand-hazard environments where cut and puncture resistance are required alongside precise grip. The high-visibility yellow and black coloring improves visibility on the job site. The 15-gauge knit construction provides a close fit that supports fine-motor tasks such as handling small components, wire management, and light assembly. The knit cuff offers a secure, comfortable fit at the wrist. At 0.1 pounds per pair, the gloves add minimal bulk to a tool bag or work belt. They are sold as a paired set and sized for men 2XL or women 3XL.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-buy work glove within the Milwaukee Tool 48-73 series, sized 2XL for men and 3XL for women in unisex fit.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that would compromise protection. These gloves are not rated as a blood-borne pathogen barrier and are not FDA approved — do not substitute them for medical or chemical protective gloves. Replace immediately if the coating delaminates or the liner shows visible wear. Follow your employer's PPE program and applicable OSHA hand-protection requirements when selecting gloves for specific hazard levels.
