The MILWAUKEE TOOL 48-73-8911 is a cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant work glove designed for trade professionals who need reliable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. Built on a 15-gauge HPPE blend and polyester seamless liner, the glove delivers ANSI Cut Level A1 resistance and an EN 388 rating of 3121A. The palm and fingertips are dipped in nitrile coating for grip and durability, while the back of the hand remains open-knit for breathability. Smartswipe touchscreen-compatible fingertips allow device use without removing the glove. The high-visibility yellow colorway aids jobsite awareness. This glove is sized for medium hands and paired for ambidextrous use.
These gloves are suited for general trade work including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and light mechanical tasks where cut and abrasion exposure is present but heavy-duty impact protection is not required. The lightweight 15-gauge construction makes them appropriate for tasks requiring finger sensitivity, such as handling sheet metal edges, small fasteners, wire work, or pulling cable. A reinforced nitrile coating between the thumb and index finger addresses the high-wear zone common in gripping and pulling applications. The knit cuff provides a secure, comfortable fit during extended wear.
Designed as an OEM-style work glove for general trade and industrial applications requiring ANSI Cut Level A1 hand protection. Sized for medium men or small women per ANSI unisex sizing.
Inspect gloves for damage before each use and replace if the liner or coating shows cuts, tears, or degradation. These gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or high-voltage insulation protection and must not be used as a substitute for rated electrical PPE. Follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 and applicable site-specific PPE requirements when selecting hand protection for a given task. Launder per manufacturer guidelines to maintain coating integrity and liner performance.
