The MILWAUKEE TOOL 48-73-1209 is a full brim construction hard hat rated Class C under ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type 1. The shell is molded from high density polyethylene (HDPE) and features a vented design to promote airflow during prolonged wear on active job sites. Inside, a 4-point adjustable suspension with quick-release functionality distributes impact load across the crown and simplifies donning and removal. The hat measures 10.2 inches in height, 6.0 inches in width, and 12.5 inches in length, with a universal fit range accommodating head sizes 6-1/2 to 8. Licensed electricians, general contractors, and construction crews are the primary installers and end users of this head protection equipment.
This hard hat is suited for commercial and residential construction sites, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects where overhead impact hazards are present. The full brim profile provides 360-degree protection against sun, rain, and minor debris around the perimeter of the head. The vented shell is appropriate for warm-weather outdoor applications. The non-slotted shell does not accept accessory attachments that require slots, keeping the structural integrity of the HDPE crown intact. No graphic or printed finish is applied to this unit.
Designed as an OEM-style personal protective equipment solution for general construction and industrial environments requiring ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type 1, Class C compliant head protection.
Hard hat fitting and suspension adjustment should be completed before entering a hazardous work zone. Inspect the shell and suspension for cracks, dents, or fraying before each use and remove the hat from service if damage is found. Do not modify, drill, or paint the shell, as these actions can compromise the structural integrity and void compliance with ANSI standards. Follow the employer's written personal protective equipment program and applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1926.100 requirements for head protection on construction sites.
