The MILWAUKEE TOOL 48-22-8780 is a pair of cut-, puncture-, and abrasion-resistant work gloves designed for trade professionals working in environments with sharp edges, rough materials, and impact hazards. Built from soft top-grain goatskin leather, these full-fingered gloves carry an ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5, Puncture Level 3, and Abrasion Level 3 rating. Impact-rated enhanced TPR on the back of the hand adds a layer of protection against knocks and crush hazards. A nylon lining and elastic cuff provide a secure, comfortable fit during extended use. HVAC techs, pipefitters, electricians, and general construction trades are the primary users of this type of hand protection.
These gloves are intended for professional use in residential and commercial job sites where hand protection from cutting, puncturing, and abrasive surfaces is required. The keystone thumb construction improves dexterity and range of motion, and the gunn cut pattern reduces seam pressure across the palm. A reinforced palm extends wear life on high-friction tasks such as pulling wire, handling sheet metal, or working with copper pipe. The webbing pull loop simplifies donning with gloved or dirty hands. Best suited for dry grip conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style hand protection solution rated for general trade and industrial applications requiring ANSI/ISEA 138 and EN388 compliant cut, puncture, and impact resistance in a small-sized pair glove.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or degraded palm material that would reduce protection levels. Replace gloves when leather shows visible wear through or structural damage that compromises ANSI-rated protection. These gloves are rated for dry grip surfaces only and are not intended for wet or chemical-exposure environments. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection requirements (29 CFR 1910.138) for the specific task and hazard assessment.
