Built with a spline shank for positive engagement in compatible spline-drive rotary hammers, this bit delivers the torque transfer needed for 6-inch diameter work. The carbide-tipped cutting head provides durability against abrasive aggregate, while the 3-inch usable flute length channels debris away from the cutting face. At 22 inches overall length, it reaches depth in thick slabs and block walls. Licensed electricians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors reach for this bit when penetrating structural concrete for conduit, piping, or ductwork sleeves.

Installation and operation of this bit should be performed by a qualified tradesperson familiar with rotary hammer operation and applicable OSHA safety requirements for concrete drilling. Before drilling, verify the work area is clear of embedded conduit, rebar, or post-tension cables using a concrete scanner or rebar locator. Ensure the rotary hammer is powered off and the bit is fully seated and locked in the chuck before beginning. Use appropriate hearing and eye protection, and follow OSHA silica dust controls including wet drilling methods or vacuum dust extraction when required by site conditions.
