The MILWAUKEE TOOL 2563P-20 is a brushless, pistol-grip cordless impact wrench built for professional fastening applications in mechanical, HVAC, and general trade work. Powered by the M12 FUEL platform at 12 volts, it delivers up to 550 ft/lb of torque and spins at 0 to 3,000 RPM with variable speed control. The 1/2 inch drive accepts standard impact sockets and uses a pin detent retainer for secure socket retention. At 2.49 pounds, it is compact enough for tight-access installations where a full-size impact wrench cannot reach. The brushless motor extends tool life and improves efficiency compared to brushed alternatives. Tool only — battery and charger sold separately.
This impact wrench suits residential and light commercial service work where a compact, high-torque cordless tool is needed. Typical applications include equipment mounting, pipe flange bolting, duct framework assembly, and general mechanical fastening. The pistol-grip handle with rubber over-mold provides control during repetitive fastening tasks. At 4.9 inches in overall length, it fits into confined spaces common in mechanical room installations and equipment cabinets. Compatible M12 REDLITHIUM batteries keep it running on the same platform as other M12 tools already in the kit bag.
Compatible with M12 REDLITHIUM batteries. Designed for use within the Milwaukee Tool M12 FUEL cordless platform. Battery and charger are not included and must be purchased separately.
Installation and use of this tool should be performed by a qualified trade professional familiar with torque requirements for the application. Always verify fastener torque specifications with the equipment manufacturer — do not rely solely on impact wrench feel for torque-critical joints. Disconnect power or shut off equipment before fastening or loosening bolts on energized or pressurized systems. Follow applicable codes, including NFPA 70 for electrical equipment and ASME or equipment-specific standards for mechanical fastening.
