The MILWAUKEE ATC34 is a close quarter tubing cutter designed for cutting copper, brass, and thin-wall tubing in tight spaces where a standard cutter cannot fit. Built for plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters working in confined areas such as wall cavities, under cabinets, and mechanical rooms, this tool delivers clean, burr-minimal cuts without the swing clearance required by conventional cutters. The compact head design allows the cutter to reach pipe runs that would otherwise require costly access cuts or rerouting. At 8.6 pounds, the ATC34 is a field-ready tool suited to daily trade use.
The ATC34 is used in residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC applications wherever 3/4 inch tubing is installed in restricted locations. Typical scenarios include copper water supply lines behind fixtures, refrigerant line sets in tight chases, and hydronic piping near structural members. This cutter is a practical solution when space constraints make standard tubing cutters impractical on the job site.
Designed for cutting 3/4 inch copper, brass, and compatible thin-wall tubing in close quarter plumbing and HVAC installation and service applications.
Shut off the water supply or isolate the refrigerant circuit before cutting any active line. Ensure the tubing is properly supported on both sides of the cut to prevent deformation. Deburr the cut end before making any flared, swaged, or press-fit connection. Follow applicable plumbing and mechanical codes, including IPC and IFGC requirements, for the jurisdiction where work is performed.
