The MILWAUKEE 9568 is a 1-ton capacity electric chain hoist designed for professional lifting applications in industrial, commercial, and trade environments. Rated for a maximum lift height of 20 feet at a lifting speed of 16 feet per minute, it runs on a single-phase motor at 115/230 volts AC, drawing 16.0 amps at low voltage. A built-in multi-disc magnetic brake delivers positive load holding and precise spotting control. The unit ships as a single assembly and is installed and operated by qualified riggers, millwrights, electricians, or maintenance professionals working in overhead lifting situations.
The 9568 is suited for single-phase power environments requiring reliable overhead lifting of loads up to 1 ton. Typical applications include manufacturing facilities, warehouses, mechanical rooms, and job sites where a permanent or temporary overhead hoist is needed. The 24-volt push button pendant station is designed for one-handed or two-handed operation, supporting thumb, trigger, or two-handed control styles. The latch-type rigid top hook allows secure overhead mounting to a beam or trolley.
Designed for use in single-phase electrical environments as an overhead chain hoist; compatible with standard beam mounts and trolley systems accepting a latch-type rigid top hook at 1-ton working load limit.
Installation and wiring of electric chain hoists must be performed by a qualified electrician and rigger in accordance with applicable OSHA, ASME B30.16, and NEC requirements. Disconnect and lock out all power to the circuit before making electrical connections. Verify the overhead support structure is rated for the hoist weight and dynamic load before mounting. Never exceed the rated 1-ton working load limit.
