The MILWAUKEE 9565 is a single-phase electric chain hoist rated for 1 ton load capacity with a 10-foot lift height. It is built for overhead lifting tasks in industrial, commercial, and contractor environments where reliable load control is required. The hoist runs on a single-phase 115/230-volt AC motor drawing 16 amps at low voltage. A multi-disc magnetic brake provides positive load holding and precise spotting. A 24-volt push button pendant station allows thumb, trigger, or two-handed operation. Licensed electricians and rigging professionals are the primary installers and operators of this equipment.
The 9565 is suited for tool rooms, warehouses, fabrication shops, mechanical rooms, and job site applications requiring powered overhead lifting. The adjustable upper and lower limit switches allow the operator to regulate load travel within the lifting path. The overload limiting clutch helps protect the hoist and load under over-capacity conditions. A latch-type rigid top hook provides a secure attachment point to the support structure. The unit operates on standard single-phase power, making it compatible with typical shop and job site electrical service.
Designed as an OEM electric chain hoist for use with standard overhead beam and trolley mounting systems rated for the applicable load capacity.
Installation and wiring of electric chain hoists must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements and applicable OSHA overhead lifting regulations. Disconnect and lock out all power before performing any wiring, inspection, or maintenance work. Verify that the supporting structure, beam, and any trolley or mounting hardware are rated to exceed the maximum loaded weight of the hoist and its rated capacity. Do not exceed the rated load capacity or use the hoist for side-pulling or dragging loads.
