The MILWAUKEE 6880 is a heavy-duty electric nibbler designed for cutting steel sheet metal, stainless steel, and corrugated metal using a punch-and-die cutting action. Rated at 4.0 amps, it handles up to 10 gauge steel and up to 12 gauge stainless steel. The cutter head rotates to 8 positions, allowing the operator to orient the tool for tight radius cuts and awkward angles. A cutting guide on the front supports pattern work and straight-line cuts. Licensed electricians, HVAC sheet metal technicians, and industrial fabricators are the primary installers for this tool.
The 6880 is suited for residential and commercial sheet metal fabrication, HVAC ductwork, roofing, and siding applications. It accepts a 1.65-inch starter hole when cutting from within a sheet, or can begin from the edge of the material. Its corrugated metal cutting capability makes it a common choice for roofing and agricultural building work. This is the heaviest-duty nibbler in the Milwaukee nibbler lineup, intended for continuous professional use in trade environments.
Designed for use on steel sheet metal up to 10 gauge, stainless steel up to 12 gauge, and corrugated metal panels. Punch-and-die cutting system is compatible with standard Milwaukee 6880 replacement dies and punches.
Intended for use by qualified sheet metal workers, HVAC technicians, electricians, and fabricators. Disconnect the tool from its power source before changing the punch, die, or adjusting the cutter head position. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and cut-resistant gloves, as the nibbler produces small metal chips and curls during operation. Follow all applicable OSHA and local safety codes when operating power tools on a job site.
