The MILWAUKEE 49-66-4537 is a 1/2-inch magnetic nut driver built for impact driver and drill driver use in heavy-duty trade applications. The driver is machined from heat-treated Custom Alloy 76 steel, which controls hardness across the shank and tip for extended service life under repeated impact loading. A dedicated Shock Zone in the shank absorbs peak torque to reduce tip breakage. The hex geometry is tightly toleranced for a snug fit on fastener heads, and a chamfered edge at the tip maximizes screw-head engagement and reduces cam-out. Overall length is 2-9/16 inches.
This nut driver is suited for residential and commercial construction, mechanical, and electrical trade work wherever 1/2-inch fasteners are driven at volume. It is designed specifically for use with impact drivers and drill drivers, making it a standard addition to an electrician, HVAC technician, or general contractor tool kit. The color-coded band on the shank allows fast size identification when multiple nut drivers are staged on a belt or in a pouch.
Designed for use with standard impact drivers and drill drivers accepting 1/4-inch hex shank accessories. Suitable for driving 1/2-inch hex-head fasteners across a wide range of trade applications.
Install and remove nut drivers only when the tool is powered off and the battery is removed or the tool is unplugged. Seat the 1/4-inch hex shank fully into the tool chuck before driving to ensure secure engagement. This driver is rated for impact driver use; avoid applying lateral force or using it as a pry point, as this can damage the shank. Follow applicable jobsite safety codes when operating rotary tools overhead or in confined spaces.
