The MILWAUKEE 49-66-4532 is a 1/4-inch nut setter designed for fast, accurate fastener driving in construction, electrical, and mechanical trade applications. Built from steel with a black phosphate finish, it resists corrosion and wear under regular jobsite conditions. The 1/4-inch hex shank provides a secure, tool-free connection to standard power drills, impact drivers, and screwguns equipped with a 1/4-inch quick-change chuck. At 2-9/16 inches overall length, this setter is suited for tight-clearance work where longer accessories become a liability. Electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, and general contractors reach for this type of tool when setting hex-head fasteners repeatedly and efficiently.
This nut setter is used in residential and light commercial construction for driving 1/4-inch hex-head screws, bolts, and self-drilling fasteners into metal framing, ductwork, electrical enclosures, brackets, and structural connections. It fits standard 1/4-inch quick-change bit holders and is compatible with the wide range of drills and impact drivers that accept hex shank accessories. The compact overall length makes it practical in panel boxes, junction enclosures, and other confined spaces where a full-depth socket or longer setter would not fit.
Designed as a direct-fit accessory for power drills, cordless impact drivers, and screwguns equipped with a standard 1/4-inch quick-change hex chuck.
Insert the hex shank fully into the tool chuck and confirm the locking mechanism is engaged before driving fasteners. Use in a drill or impact driver rated for hex shank accessories. When working near energized panels or enclosures, follow NFPA 70E safe work practices and de-energize circuits before driving fasteners into or adjacent to live equipment. Inspect the setter tip for wear or rounding periodically, as a damaged tip can strip fastener heads.
