The MILWAUKEE 49-59-4156 is a tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) annular cutter engineered for fast, clean hole-making in hard metal materials. The cutter features an advanced tooth geometry that simultaneously cuts, cleans, and clears chips from the bore while drilling, reducing heat buildup and extending tool life. Its thin-wall design displaces less material than standard hole cutters of the same diameter, resulting in faster cycle times and burr-free holes. The 3/4 inch Weldon shank is compatible with most small and large magnetic drill presses. This cutter is sized at 1 9/16 inches in diameter and approximately 3.65 inches in length, making it suited for stainless steel, cast iron, and similarly demanding ferrous materials.
The 49-59-4156 is intended for use by metalworkers, ironworkers, pipefitters, and fabricators who require precise, repeatable holes in hard metal stock. It performs in both residential structural applications and commercial or industrial fabrication environments where magnetic drill presses are the standard tool of choice. The cutter is designed for multi-purpose hard metal applications and accepts the ejector pin 49-59-0014, which aids in part ejection after the hole is complete. It is sold individually.
Designed for use with most small magnetic drill presses and large magnetic drill presses equipped with the correct arbor, via a 3/4 inch Weldon shank. Use ejector pin 49-59-0014 for slug ejection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified metalworker or fabricator familiar with magnetic drill press operation. Secure the Weldon shank fully in the arbor and verify the set screw is tight before applying power to the drill. Apply cutting fluid or lubricant appropriate for the base metal to maintain cutting edge life and reduce heat. Always clamp or magnetically secure the workpiece before drilling to prevent movement during operation.
