The MILWAUKEE 49-59-4075 is a tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) annular cutter designed for fast, clean hole cutting in hard metal materials including stainless steel and cast iron. The cutter features an advanced tooth geometry that simultaneously cuts, cleans, and clears chips during the drilling operation, reducing heat buildup and extending tool life. The thin-wall design displaces less material than conventional hole cutters, producing burr-free holes more efficiently. This cutter is used by metalworkers, ironworkers, and mechanical contractors who rely on magnetic drill presses for structural and fabrication work.
This annular cutter is suited for hard metal applications in both shop and field environments. Typical installations include drilling through structural steel, plate steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. The 3/4 inch Weldon shank makes it compatible with most small magnetic drill presses and, with the correct arbor, large magnetic drill presses as well. It is sold individually and is a fit for fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and on-site structural work where clean, precise holes in tough materials are required.
Fits most small magnetic drill presses via the 3/4 inch Weldon shank. Compatible with large magnetic drill presses when used with the appropriate arbor. Use with pilot pin 49-59-0014 as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation and use of this annular cutter should be performed by qualified metalworkers or tradespeople familiar with magnetic drill press operation. Secure the workpiece firmly and verify the magnetic drill press base has full, unobstructed contact with the work surface before engaging the cutter. Always insert the pilot pin before beginning the cut to prevent the slug from becoming a projectile. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and cut-resistant gloves when operating annular cutters in metal.
