The MILWAUKEE 49-57-8327 is a carbide-tipped annular cutter designed for cutting clean, accurate holes in sheet metal and structural materials up to 3/16 inches thick. It is built for use with Milwaukee quick-change arbor 49-57-0035, allowing fast bit swaps without a chuck key. The 1-1/2 inch cutting diameter produces fine holes in stainless steel, structural steel studs, brass, aluminum, and other thin-gauge sheet materials. Applying cutting fluid during drilling extends carbide tip life; Milwaukee recommends Hawg Wash cutting fluid (49-32-0081) for best results. Electricians, HVAC installers, and sheet metal workers are the primary users of this cutter.
This cutter is suited for residential and commercial trade applications where precise, burr-minimized holes are required in metal framing, electrical enclosures, ductwork, and structural steel studs. Its quick-change design makes it practical for hand-held drill use, delivering drill-press-quality holes in the field. It is sold individually and compatible with standard quick-change arbor setups used on portable drills and drill presses.
