Product Description

Milwaukee offers the 49-57-8315 Quick Change Sheet Metal Carbide Cutter for materials up to three sixteenths of an inch thick. This tool produces fine holes in stainless steel and structural steel studs. It also works well with brass, aluminum, and other thin sheet materials. The cutter can be used in hand-held drills to achieve drilling performance similar to that of a drill press. Using lubrication during the drilling process extends the lifespan of the carbide. Milwaukee advises using Hawg Wash cutting fluid for optimal results. This fluid is available in sixteen-ounce bottles (part number 49-32-0081) and one bottle can create one gallon of lubricating solution. The cutter has a diameter of two and one-fourth inches.
