The MILWAUKEE 49-57-3750 is a threaded-shank Steel Hawg annular cutter designed for fast, clean hole cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Carbide teeth with an alternating cutting pattern allow this cutter to remove material up to three times faster than a standard twist drill bit while producing a cleaner bore edge. It cuts holes up to 2 inches deep in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The threaded shank features an M18 x 1.5 metric thread size. A spring-loaded, self-ejecting pilot pin centers the cut and ejects the slug automatically when the cut is complete. Licensed electricians, ironworkers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors are the primary users of this tool.
The 49-57-3750 is built for use with electromagnetic and magnetic drill presses in commercial and industrial applications. It is compatible with arbor 49-57-0030 on the Milwaukee 4262-1 magnetic drill press and arbor 49-57-0010 on the Milwaukee 4292-1 mag press. It is also compatible with a No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010. Typical install scenarios include drilling clean, precise holes in structural steel, fabrication tables, electrical enclosures, and pipe hangers where a full through-hole without a center drill point is required.
Compatible with arbor 49-57-0030 on the Milwaukee 4262-1 magnetic drill press, arbor 49-57-0010 on the Milwaukee 4292-1 mag press, and a No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010. Works with most electromagnetic drill presses accepting a threaded M18 x 1.5 shank.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified tradespeople familiar with magnetic drill press equipment and metal cutting procedures. Always secure the magnetic drill press base fully to the workpiece before beginning a cut and confirm the cutter arbor is properly torqued to the manufacturer's specification. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and cut-resistant gloves when handling or operating annular cutters. Disconnect the drill press from power before changing cutters or arbors.
