The MILWAUKEE 49-57-2750 is a threaded Steel Hawg annular cutter designed to drill clean, accurate holes up to three times faster than standard twist drill bits. Built with abrasion-resistant carbide teeth and an alternating tooth form geometry, it cuts holes up to 2 inches deep in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The M18 x 1.5 metric threaded shank provides a secure, positive connection to compatible arbors and electromagnetic drill presses. A spring-loaded, self-ejecting pilot pin serves dual duty as a centering pin and plug ejector, reducing cycle time between cuts. This cutter is sized at 2 3/4 inches in diameter and is sold individually.
This annular cutter is suited for ironworkers, electricians, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors who need precise large-diameter holes in structural steel and heavy plate. It is commonly used in fabrication shops, on job sites, and in industrial maintenance settings where mag drill presses are standard equipment. For use with arbor 49-57-0030 on the Milwaukee 4262-1 magnetic drill press, or with arbor 49-57-0010 on the Milwaukee 4292-1 mag press. It is also compatible with a No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010.
Compatible with arbor 49-57-0030 on the Milwaukee 4262-1 magnetic drill press and arbor 49-57-0010 on the Milwaukee 4292-1 mag press. Also compatible with No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010. Works with most electromagnetic drill presses accepting an M18 x 1.5 threaded shank.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified trade professionals familiar with magnetic drill press operation. Secure the mag drill press firmly to the workpiece before engaging the cutter, and verify the arbor connection is fully seated and locked before applying power. Always use cutting fluid appropriate for the base material to extend cutter life and improve hole quality. Inspect carbide teeth for wear or chipping before each use and replace the cutter if damage is observed.
