The MILWAUKEE 49-57-2620 is a threaded Steel Hawg annular cutter designed for fast, accurate hole cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It cuts holes up to 2 inches deep in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum using abrasion-resistant carbide teeth in an alternating tooth form geometry. This design allows it to cut up to three times faster than standard twist drill bits. A spring-loaded, self-ejecting pilot pin doubles as a centering pin and automatically ejects the plug after each cut, reducing cycle time and improving hole accuracy. The cutter uses an M18 x 1.5 shank thread and is built for use with electromagnetic drill presses. It is installed by metalworkers, ironworkers, and mechanical tradespeople working with structural steel or fabricated assemblies.
