The MILWAUKEE 49-57-2310 is a threaded Steel Hawg annular cutter designed for cutting clean, accurate holes in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The cutter uses carbide teeth arranged in an alternating cutting pattern that removes material up to 3 times faster than a standard twist drill bit. Maximum cut depth is 2 inches. The M18 x 1.5 metric threaded shank connects to compatible arbors for use with electromagnetic drill presses. A spring-loaded, self-ejecting centering pin improves hole accuracy and speeds plug removal after each cut. This tool is used by electricians, pipefitters, ironworkers, and mechanical contractors who require consistent, burr-minimizing holes in structural or plate steel.
The 49-57-2310 is suited for use on fabrication tables, steel decking, enclosures, and structural members where a precise hole diameter is required. It is designed to work with most electromagnetic drill presses. For use with Milwaukee magnetic drill press model 4262-1, pair with arbor 49-57-0030. For use with Milwaukee model 4292-1, pair with arbor 49-57-0010. The cutter is also compatible with a No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010. Sold individually.
Compatible with Milwaukee magnetic drill press model 4262-1 using arbor 49-57-0030, and Milwaukee model 4292-1 using arbor 49-57-0010. Also compatible with No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010. Fits most electromagnetic drill presses that accept M18 x 1.5 threaded annular cutters.
Installation and operation of annular cutters should be performed by qualified tradespeople familiar with electromagnetic drill press equipment. Always secure the magnetic base fully to a clean, flat steel surface and verify the magnet indicator before beginning a cut. Power down and de-energize the drill press before changing cutters or arbors. Follow the drill press manufacturer guidelines and applicable OSHA standards for rotating tool operation and workpiece securing.
