The MILWAUKEE 49-57-1875 is a threaded Steel Hawg annular cutter designed for cutting clean, fast holes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Carbide teeth with an alternating cutting pattern allow the cutter to bore up to a 2-inch hole depth in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The 1-7/8 inch diameter cutter features an M18 x 1.5 metric thread shank and cuts at 2 TPI. A spring-loaded, self-ejecting pilot pin serves as both a centering pin and a plug ejector, reducing cycle time between cuts. Licensed electricians, ironworkers, and mechanical contractors working with structural steel and enclosures are the primary installers.
This cutter is suited for use with electromagnetic and magnetic drill presses in commercial and industrial applications where hole accuracy and speed matter. Common scenarios include conduit knockout work, structural steel fabrication, HVAC equipment mounting, and panel fabrication. It is compatible with arbor 49-57-0030 on the Milwaukee 4262-1 magnetic drill press and arbor 49-57-0010 on the Milwaukee 4292-1 mag press. The cutter also accepts a No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010 for expanded compatibility with other magnetic drill platforms.

Annular cutters of this type are installed and operated by licensed electricians, ironworkers, and mechanical trade professionals. Always secure the magnetic drill press to the workpiece and verify full magnet engagement before starting the cut. Disengage power and lock out the drill press before changing cutters or arbors. Apply cutting oil to extend cutter life and reduce heat buildup during prolonged use in hard metals.
