The MILWAUKEE 49-57-1377 is a quick change tang drive annular cutter designed for cutting clean holes in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. Built with abrasion-resistant carbide teeth and an alternating tooth form geometry, it cuts holes up to 1 inch deep without requiring pre-punching or pilot holes. The result is a ream-like finish that reduces secondary work. A spring-loaded, self-ejecting centering pin speeds up plug removal and keeps cuts accurate. Licensed electricians, ironworkers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors working with electromagnetic drill presses will find this cutter a reliable production tool.
The 49-57-1377 is suited for use on electromagnetic and magnetic drill presses in commercial, industrial, and heavy residential applications. It is compatible with Milwaukee arbor 49-57-0012 or 49-57-0013 for use with the Milwaukee 4292-1 or 4297-1 magnetic drill press, and with arbor 49-57-0032 for use with the Milwaukee 4262-1 mag press. It also works with most other electromagnetic drill presses that accept a standard tang drive arbor. The 1-3/8 inch cutting diameter makes it a common choice for structural steel fab and conduit knockout work.
Compatible with Milwaukee arbors 49-57-0012 and 49-57-0013 for use with the Milwaukee 4292-1 and 4297-1 magnetic drill presses, and with arbor 49-57-0032 for use with the Milwaukee 4262-1 mag press. Also designed for use on the Milwaukee 4252 Steel Hawg and works with most electromagnetic drill presses that accept a tang drive arbor.
Installation is typically performed by electricians, ironworkers, or pipefitters using a compatible magnetic drill press. Secure the drill press firmly to the workpiece with the magnetic base fully engaged before operating. Inspect the arbor and tang drive connection for wear before each use. Follow the drill press manufacturer's speed recommendations for the cutter diameter and material being cut.
