The MILWAUKEE 49-57-1314 is a quick change tang drive annular cutter designed for fast, clean hole cutting in metal. It produces a 1-5/16 inch diameter hole up to 1 inch deep in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum without pre-punching or pilot holes. Carbide teeth in an alternating cutting pattern deliver a ream-like finish and extended cutter life. The tang drive system allows rapid bit changes on compatible magnetic drill presses, keeping downtime low on the job site. Licensed electricians, ironworkers, and mechanical contractors typically reach for this cutter when working with structural steel or heavy plate.
The 49-57-1314 is built for use with electromagnetic drill presses. It pairs with arbor 49-57-0012 or 49-57-0013 on Milwaukee 4292-1 or 4297-1 magnetic drill presses, and with arbor 49-57-0032 on the Milwaukee 4262-1 mag press. It is also noted for use on a 4252 Steel Hawg. The cutter is sold individually and suits production drilling applications where hole quality and throughput both matter.
Compatible with arbor 49-57-0012 or 49-57-0013 on Milwaukee 4292-1 or 4297-1 magnetic drill presses, arbor 49-57-0032 on the Milwaukee 4262-1 mag press, and the Milwaukee 4252 Steel Hawg. Works with most electromagnetic drill presses accepting a quick change tang drive arbor.
Install and remove this cutter only with the magnetic drill press powered off and the electromagnet disengaged. Secure the workpiece firmly before cutting to prevent movement during the drilling cycle. Confirm arbor compatibility before mounting and inspect the cutter for worn or chipped teeth prior to each use. Follow the drill press manufacturer guidelines for speed settings appropriate to the material and cutter diameter.
