The MILWAUKEE 49-57-0750 is a threaded Steel Hawg annular cutter designed for fast, clean hole-cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The cutter uses carbide teeth arranged in an alternating cutting pattern to drill holes up to three times faster than conventional twist drill bits. It cuts holes up to 2 inches deep in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum. At 3/4 inch in diameter and 3-1/4 inches in length, this cutter is built for use with electromagnetic and magnetic drill presses by licensed tradespeople and metalworking professionals who need reliable, repeatable results in structural and fabrication work.
This annular cutter is suited for metalworking applications in structural steel fabrication, HVAC ductwork penetrations, electrical conduit routing, and similar trade installations requiring precise, burr-minimized holes in sheet metal or plate stock. It is compatible with most electromagnetic drill presses using a standard threaded arbor connection. Milwaukee specifies use with arbor 49-57-0030 on the Milwaukee 4262-1 magnetic drill press, arbor 49-57-0010 on the Milwaukee 4292-1 mag press, and with a No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010.
Compatible with Milwaukee 4262-1 magnetic drill press using arbor 49-57-0030, Milwaukee 4292-1 mag press using arbor 49-57-0010, and any electromagnetic drill press accepting a No. 3 Morse taper arbor assembly 49-57-0010 with an M18 x 1.5 threaded shank.
Installation is performed by metalworkers, pipefitters, electricians, or HVAC technicians using a compatible magnetic drill press or electromagnetic drill press. Secure the workpiece and verify the magnetic base has full contact with the work surface before drilling. Inspect the arbor connection and ensure the threaded shank is fully seated before operation. Use cutting fluid on harder materials such as stainless steel and cast iron to extend cutter life and improve cut quality.
