The Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp 49-56-0132 is a 2-1/4 inch bi-metal hole saw designed for general-purpose cutting in metal, wood, and composite materials. Built around a 3.5 TPI tooth geometry, this hole saw is engineered for extended tooth life in metal applications. A thermoset coating reduces friction at the cut, allowing faster material removal and optimized performance with cordless tool platforms. Licensed electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers, and general contractors use this saw for drilling clean, accurately sized holes through a wide range of substrates.
This hole saw fits residential and commercial installation work where repeatable, clean-bore holes are required. The 3.5 TPI design handles sheet metal, conduit knockout work, pipe rough-in, and structural lumber drilling. All-access slots along the body allow plug removal without stopping to use a separate tool, reducing downtime between consecutive holes. An open slot design also improves pilot bit visibility for accurate placement and promotes chip ejection to keep the cut cool during extended use.
Compatible with arbors TV 138-923 and TV 139-793. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct addition to Milwaukee Hole Dozer hole saw systems using standard arbor interfaces.
Installation is performed by licensed trades including electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians using a standard drill or hole saw arbor. Ensure the pilot bit is fully seated and the arbor is properly torqued before beginning a cut. Always de-energize circuits and relieve system pressure before drilling into panels, pipe chases, or pressurized assemblies. Use appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when cutting metal or composite materials.
